Lisenka and Lev decide to have their Infare sooner rather than later. Letters go to the various Maksim, Gurdinan, Bordana and Evelyn branches. One of the first to return to Quesnel is Reine Sobinov. She visits with the Emperor and his family since, Helena Zyll's mother holds a special place in the heart of her parents.
Galina receives a letter from Charles informing her that Gallio and Taitiana are too busy and could not take time out to attend. He mentions nothing about Foma. Galina writes back but receives no reply. She goes to West Virginia with Pasha and her father to see about the situation.
